Watch as cycling star pops his dislocated shoulder back into place mid-race by using his SADDLE and then continues

I trained alongside a Tour de France stage winner to test cycling’s next big thing – I was well and truly humbled

After the hour long race, Van der Haar said: “It took a really long time to get it back in. I also crashed, so it really wasn’t my day.”

CYCLING star Lars van der Haar was spotted using his SADDLE to forcibly pop his dislocated shoulder back into socket mid-race.

A second said: “It hurts like hell, but when it’s in place the pain is gone.”

The gruesome but brave scenes saw the Dutchman continue racing in the Superprestige Gullegem Cross on Saturday.

He then thrusts his body-weight downwards against his frame to reset the misplaced joint.

Van der Haar crashed heavily in the fifth lap of the mucky 2600m cyclocross race.

While others compared the toughness of pro riders to footballers.

Van der Haar, who finished 10th, then bravely got back on his bike to continue the mud-caked ride.

His nerve-shredding heroics were not enough to inspire him to victory, as Wout van Aert held off a strong challenge from Eli Iserbyt to claim his first win of the season.

TV footage showed him hunker down with his right arm extended over his top tube.

He was running around the top-5 before he was delayed, losing more ground to Superprestige series leader Niels Vandeputte.
