While the pre-game ceremonies were happening, the Sugar Bowl held a moment of silence for the victims of the terrorist attack on Bourbon Street.

Then, the scene got epic, as the Notre Dame and Georgia faithful united after the national anthem with “USA! USA! USA!” chants. It was such an overwhelming moment that some even had tears in their eyes.
