Pure Chills: Notre Dame, Georgia Fans Gloriously Come Together For ‘USA’ Chant Following New Orleans Terrorist Attack

This is what America is all about.

It was truly beautiful, as beautiful as Ol’ Glory.

While the pre-game ceremonies were happening, the Sugar Bowl held a moment of silence for the victims of the terrorist attack on Bourbon Street.

Absolute chills … it’s moments like this why I love being an American so much.

Then, the scene got epic, as the Notre Dame and Georgia faithful united after the national anthem with “USA! USA! USA!” chants. It was such an overwhelming moment that some even had tears in their eyes.

Following the terrorist attack Wednesday in New Orleans, Louisiana, the Sugar Bowl showed tribute to those who were killed and injured prior to Thursday’s game between Notre Dame and Georgia. (RELATED: Security For Sugar Bowl Has Been Cranked Up To ‘Same Level If Not More So’ Than Super Bowl)
