Who was Park Seung-hyun?
Park Seung-hyun was known for his fitness-related content and his willingness to speak openly about steroid abuse in the industry. In 2019, he confessed to using banned substances and collaborated with authorities by denouncing irregular practices in the sector.
“My younger brother Seung-hyun passed away due to health problems,” his brother wrote alongside a photograph of the late influencer. He added that his parents are deeply affected by the loss, so they have decided not to receive visitors in the memorial hall. “Please pray for his rest in peace in your hearts,” he concluded.
Although he faced a suspended indictment that same year, his sincerity and commitment to raising awareness of the dangers of doping were widely recognised, making him one of the most popular personalities to speak out on the subject.
“I started YouTube to find that person, and honed my arts and physical education to get it. I can’t give up now. There must be someone who really needs me. This is my reason for living and my hope to get through the day. I hate being alone even if I die,” he said.
