Prayer mats, an open Koran and a dart board: Items ISIS-supporting New Orleans terrorist Shamsud Din-Jabbar left behind in his squalid Houston home

Exclusive DailyMail.com photographs show the moment the FBI removed bomb making materials from the two-bedroom and two-bathroom property close to the French Quarter.

Jabbar was killed by police after he slammed a truck into pedestrians celebrating the New Year, exited the vehicle, and started firing.

Near the kitchen area Jabbar had a desk with several papers and other items left on top, there is an area where the hard drive of his computer was taken by police hours earlier.

Jabbar told neighbors he was moving to a furnished apartment in New Orleans  so he didn’t need his belongings

He said that his brother had converted to Islam at a young age, and that ‘what he did does not represent Islam. This is more some type of radicalization, not religion’.

Suspect Jabbar is said to have made a series of videos that is being reviewed by law enforcement.

Investigators are probing the theory he rented a nearby property on Airbnb in the New Orleans neighborhood of St. Roch for his base before carrying out the attack.

Sources believe that Jabbar could have rented the property out on Airbnb or another rental service before the deadly attack.

Outside of his trailer there was an area where he stored yard and outdoor items, there was another cabinet door where you could see several cans of spray paint

On the floor below his desk was a portable filing box. While the place looked ransacked, it was clean. Outside of his trailer is an area where he stored outdoor items. Through a cabinet door inside of which you could see several cans of spray paint.

But along with the cheap furniture he abandoned in the trailer was a Koran, prayer mats and a book on Islamic banking and finance.

In the kitchen, there were pantry items on the countertop alongside a white fire extinguisher. Below the countertop area in the kitchen, a military green backpack sat on the floor near a black garbage can.

The vehicle, which was hired by Jabbar on car-rental app Turo, was reportedly carrying an ISIS flag and a chest with explosives inside it.

When DailyMail.com visited the home on the eastern edge of the Heritage Village section of the city early on Thursday, the front door was closed. But when we returned later in the day it had been kicked off its hinges allowing the world to see in.

Multiple officials told CNN that the recordings appear to have been made while driving at night and the suspect is not visible in them.

And his home in a largely Muslim neighborhood of North Houston shows his devotion to Islam. A copy of the Koran was left open on an easel next to a vase of faux flowers.

That book, The Art of RF (Riba-Free) Islamic Banking and Finance purports to ‘take a modern American approach to incorporating Islamic financial principles into banking and investment techniques’.

Authorities believe that the videos were made as he drove from Texas to Louisiana, although the timing is unclear.

Incongruously among the religious items in his living room, a dart board hung on the wall next to a fake fireplace.

DailyMail.com photos offer a closer look inside Jabbar’s disheveled yet clean home which he abandoned to carry out his bloody rampage

A spokeswoman for the ATF confirmed that they were involved in assisting the investigation, but were unable to comment further when contacted by DailyMail.com.

The two-bed two-bathroom property was revamped by real estate developer Oliver Doxater at Wysteria Properties.

The recordings make reference to his divorce and that he planned on gathering his family together for a fake celebration so he could kill them.
