“We understand that wellness is deeply personal, and it spans many different aspects of people’s lives, so at Target our approach to wellness reaches into every category of our assortment,” Gomez said in the release.
“Across beauty, personal care, tech, food, beverage, nutrition, and more, we’re adding exciting new products to make it easier for people to find out everything they need at prices that allow them to take care of themselves and their families without having to spend a lot of money.”

VAST VARIETY
The 2,000 new products are split up across at least six categories.
Over 600 of those products will also be Target exclusives.
TARGET customers will soon be able to get thousands of new items at all stores, with most starting at low prices.
All of the clothing is $40 or under.
They include functional and non-alcoholic beverages, beauty and health self-care, men’s wellness, nutrition and gut health, wellness tech, and activewear and loungewear.
The retail giant confirmed the update this month as it creates more of a focus on a certain section of merchandise.
There will also be items placed at the front of stores from the 2,000 increase, including Target’s new 80-piece Blogilates apparel collection by Cassey Ho.
In the New Year, Target is “doubling down on its commitment to wellness,” per a January 9 press release.
That also came after 5,000 items were discounted in May 2024 to help shoppers save “millions of dollars.”
COST CONSIDERATION
This isn’t the first time in recent months that Target has offered lower prices on thousands of items.
