A slew of Macy’s locations are in the process of shutting down.

“I am devastated,” they said.

The stores tend to have features such as batting cages and golfing simulators.

Bed Bath & Beyond has closed all of its brick-and-mortar stores and is now an online-only retailer.

Company chiefs admitted the decision to close the outlet was tricky.

The Nordstrom store in the Northshore Mall in Peabody – located around 17 miles from Boston – will close on January 31, per the CBS affiliate WBZ-TV.

Meanwhile, a Dick’s House of Sport outlet will be opening at the mall in Peabody.

But the closures do not stop there as the Nordstrom outlet in Braintree – located at the South Shore Plaza mall, around 30 miles from Peabody – will close on March 8.

“Sign of the times,” a shopper lamented.
